The Body Archives is a contemplative exploration of embodied identity, tracing the ways in which personal and collective histories are inscribed within the body. Through movement, sound, visual forms, and tactile expressions, the project seeks to explore how identity emerges beyond the general identifiers.
At its heart, The Body Archives delves into the body as both a vessel of memory and a medium of expression. It captures the interplay between individual and collective selfhood, inviting a nuanced view of identity as something fluid, shaped by our relationships with ourselves and others. By layering movement, cyanotypes, self-portraiture, and collaborative soundscapes, the work creates an immersive portrait of how we carry, express, and transform these inner narratives.
The project invites viewers into a visceral experience, where identity is seen as something both intimate and shared—a convergence of personal gestures and collective resonance that speaks to the interconnectedness of our embodied lives.
